Cheese Anyone?

Yesterday morning I stayed home with Ruth because she's teething and not feeling well and Nathan took Dinah and John to church. He stopped at Nakumatt on the way to church to pick up a few things that we didn't get at Uchumi. I had five or six things on the list, one of which was gouda cheese. I had bought a small one at Uchumi on Saturday and we ate half of it for lunch so I wanted him to pick up another one. He called me while he was in the store and said something about the bigger one being cheaper. I didn't really picture how big the bigger one was until he got home with it.

He pulled it out of the bag and I just had to laugh. The gouda is the one he bought for 2000/= (about $26) and the little one beside it is the size I normally buy. The little one shredded is about 2 cups. I don't really think you can tell just how big it is unless you saw it in person.

This is a normal sized apple beside of it.

Wow, we have A LOT of cheese. :) I am VERY proud of my hubby for figuring out that the bigger one was cheaper...in the long run. I'm always trying to figure out the best deals, and it's rubbed off on him. YAY!
