We had a blast chatting, eating, playing games, and watching movies. We are so happy we got to see all of you. Our kids had a great time with you all. Thanks to everyone for helping us keep an eye on them! Thanks for a ton of Thanksgiving memories! We love you all!

She's a Girl!

A couple weeks ago we had Ruth's ears pierced. She did a great job and hardly cried at all! What a sweet girl. She's gotten so many compliments on them and Mommy just loves them! Now maybe the Kenyans won't call her a boy! :)

Charlotte African Market

Last weekend, we had our Meet and Greet at our African Market in Charlotte. It was loads of funs. And we raised over $2500.00! Whoohoo!! Thanks to everyone for helping us bring our baby boy home! Nathan did a GREAT job making the mandazi and chai! He also did a wonderful job staying with the kids so I could set up and be there early. Thanks, Honey! A big thanks to Whitney and her Mom for helping arrange things and getting it all set up! And to Aunt Jerri for being the treasurer! And to Poppy for helping with set up and clean up! And the Moorelands for allowing us to us their building! We couldn't have done it without all of you!

Snow!

It's been snowing this morning and early afternoon. The kids enjoyed being out in it for a while this morning. We were hoping for a lot to play in, but at least they got to see it. :) It was pretty on the trees in the last picture when we arrived at Grandpa's house this morning. I believe it's stopped now, but Grandpa says it may start again later. We're still hoping!

Visit with the Chilsons

A couple weekends ago our friends, the Chilsons, came from Wake Forest came to visit for a couple days. We had a great time watching our kids play together and catching up. Sorry to take so long to get the pictures up! Nathan and I have been out shopping this morning and are now enjoying some quite time at Grandpa and Grandma's while everyone else is out shopping. Anyway...thanks to the Chilsons for coming to visit...we had a great time and have missed you tons!
