loves strawberry freezer jam. Yes, I know it has twice as much sugar as berries. But I prefer to know exactly what my family is eating instead of buying the stuff from the store that looks like runny sugar with some red food coloring so they can label it "strawberry"jam. It makes him so happy to have homemade freezer jam on fresh baked bread! So, I made 16 jars on Saturday and his fresh bread is in the oven as I type this. I love you, Nathan!

ReplyDeleteI did! Most of the time they are pretty sour so adding lots of sugar is not a totally bad thing. :) We can usually get them year round, but this past "winter" season has been longer than normal so we've gone without for a few weeks here and there.
