Gingerbread Cookies

 And the Christmas Eve traditions commence...making gingerbread cookies.

 We made them on the dining room table this year so they could each have their own dough and space to work.

 Somehow John got a ring of chocolate around his eye. Oh, maybe it was that peanut butter ball he ate right before we made cookies.

 Ruth even made a few all by herself!

 And John made lots!

 All I had to do was keep their dough rolled out for them.

 And run the cookie pans back and forth to the oven.

 Working hard.

 They really did a great job!

 Poor Daddy was worn out. The kids woke him up at 6:30 this morning. We decided to let him have a nap while we made cookies. :)
