Saturday was the annual Emmanuel Baptist Church Ladies Christmas Luncheon at Camp Lukenya. They made it easy for families by inviting everyone and hosting the dads and kids at Paul's house. The ladies met at Pastor Weaver and Mary Ann's house. We started by playing Christmas carol charades. The Kenyan ladies were quite hilarious. I don't think any of them had ever played charades before. They had a hard time not talking, and some of the songs they had never heard before. They did a great job though. Then Mary Ann read the Christmas story and we sang Christmas carols. It was a special time celebrating the birth of our Lord. Then we had a great meal with delicious desserts! A big thanks to the Weavers for hosting all of us!
