Playtime

These little girls were so precious. They loved to touch our skin and our hair. We were constantly being touched. Especially the kids. They ate up all the attention.
We started unloading all the food from the van and they arranged it all on the porch and got all the kids gathered around. Mimi and Papa, this is what the money you gave us purchased! It was a lot!!
Here's Aimee, the girls, and their babies.
Of course they all wanted to pick Ruth up. She did pretty good with it until it was way past nap time.
After all the excitement died down, Pastor Morris said the older boys wanted to race Nathan. LOL!! It was hilarious! Nathan was wearing his Crocs and just about lost them on the first race.
He put the straps on for the second race, and here they come! See that little boy out in the front? Nathan said he was fast! And he's little, too!
Here they come. And Nathan's catching up!
And the winner is... :)
Justin with one of the little girls.
Nathan was showing them how to color in their coloring books.
Aren't they precious?!
She kept rubbing Nathan's head so he reached over to rub her hair.
And then they were intrigued by his freckles.
Anyone know where John is in this picture? He's there. Guaranteed.
The little girl in pink kept throwing her baby up in the air. She was pretty good at catching it, too. I don't think she dropped it once. I was so happy they liked the dolls. It took me a couple weeks to get them ordered, the way I wanted them, and then picked up.

When the adults sat down to chat for a bit, the kids kind of disappeared. John and Ruth stayed pretty close by us, but we noticed Dinah had disappeared with the other kids.
The little guys found the smooth floor to play with their cars.
And the girls were lounging on the beds with their coloring books.
They were so sweet to share with Dinah. And I was so proud of her running off and playing with them all on her own.
Here's Sharon and I'm not sure of the other little girl's name. They seemed like good friends and were the ones called on to help with lunch and tea. They were a great team.
While Dinah was playing, John made his way to where they were washing dishes. That boy l.o.v.e.s to play in the water!
What sweet kiddos!
She didn't that baby doll out of her sight!
The cars rolled really good on the tile floor.
We sat down to watch Justin playing ball with some of the boys while we were waiting for tea.
The kids enjoying their tea and biscuits a.k.a. cookies.
See that honkin' tea pot in the left of the picture. I think it's the biggest tea pot I've ever seen!
They had a couple of puppy's and they were so tiny. The kids really enjoyed playing with them. They were much more calm than Calvin.

Alright, so I think that's all the pictures for now. We really had a wonderful time getting to know the children better and talking with Rosemary. There are so many ways to help these precious children. We are beginning to pray about ways we can help and get more involved. Will you join us in praying about how you can help?

"Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." ~James 1:27
