Last night after we visited with Frank, Dottie, Chris, and Lindy, we headed to the Tokyo Restaurant for some dinner. We'd heard it was good, and we always enjoy Asian food. It was a lot of fun! We tried some new food and the kids did great! They especially enjoyed the chopsticks. Although, as you will see, they haven't quite conquered the art of using them!
John and his spring roll "stabbed" on his chopstick.
Ruth with her spring roll, too and Dinah in the background with a piece of potato tempura on hers. :) Crazy kids.
Nathan's Soba Tempura. It was a soup type dish with noodles and some seafood tempura. Quite interesting, but we all liked it and the kids like the noodles. Dinah even tried the "whale" a.k.a. shrimp with a tail!
There's more than one way to skin a cat! She was determined to use those chopsticks.
Plain fried rice and it was delicious!!
The attempt at a family. We couldn't find a place to sit the camera for a timed picture so this is the best we got. We really had a lot of fun and we all really enjoyed the food!
