Court Date!

Last Friday night, we put in Fireproof after the kids were in bed and sat down on the couch to relax for a bit. Nathan was also surfing the internet. As he was surfing, he checked our email and saw that we had an email from our case manager at CWA. We had just sent him an email responding to his previous email that our case had been submitted to court on January 27 and thanking him for his hard work. Well, he responded with "I have some major news!" We received our court date in one week and one day!! The judge has now decided that families will travel for the second court date since some of the paperwork is taking longer to collect. SO, our court dates are March 11 (one year and one day since we sent our dossier to Ethiopia!) and March 29! Whew! What an exciting evening! We got the email about 9:45pm and needless to say, didn't sleep for several more hours after that! We will most likely be traveling to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on March 25 to visit with Ezra 2 times before our court date, sightseeing around Addis, shopping, and going to court.

If any of you are keeping up with our family that's visiting, yes, Nana, Poppy, Auntie Beth, and Uncle Todd will be here at that time. We are still sorting out details, but are very thankful that we will have family here to watch Dinah, John, and Ruth for some of the time we are scheduled to be gone! We are still working on who will watch them the remaining 3-4 days! Please pray as we work out all these details! We are super excited to be able to say we are going to Ethiopia NEXT month!!
