From Our Window

For the culture post today, I thought it would be neat to show you the view from mine and Nathan's bedroom window. 

 If you look to the right, this is what you see.

If you look to the left, this huge ficus tree will block your view. So you kind of have to look past it. 

We are enjoying our new estate although I guess we've been here 6 months already so it's not quite so new anymore. The road is a bit worse than the road in the other estate, but the kids have managed to figure out how to maneuver their bikes around the holes and over the bumps. One day a couple of weeks ago, John spotted a monkey in the road while we were out for our walk. There are chickens that roam freely and the kids get a kick out of chasing them. :) Maybe we're bad parents for letting them, but then again, there aren't supposed to be any chickens living here, either. Anywho...
