Valentines isn't really a big holiday in our books just because we feel we should show love to those special people all year. However, now that we have kids, it's kind of fun to do a little something special. Dinah and I made a chocolate cake for dessert and Daddy offered to take us out for dinner, but we had a big down pour right at dinner time so we decided to stay home. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate cake with chocolate icing. They all got Valentine cards from both sets of grandparents. They had a blast opening them and "reading" them and looking at them for days! Literally. I think I read about Ruth being the star granddaughter for a week!
So, there you go. The Lord has surely blessed us with some awesome kids who we love with all our hearts! Happy Valentines Day!
