So our first court date came and went yesterday. No good news. No bad news. It just happened. We didn't have our letter from MOWCY which was to be expected considering the recent news coming from Ethiopia. Now we pray, pray, pray for it to be there in 2 weeks for our next court date! We will still travel for our March 29 court date since we already have family and friends lined up to take care of our children. It would be more conservative for us to wait until our letter shows up, but we don't have family here often to help with our kids. We feel like we should go ahead and go and give our consent. Who knows. Maybe it will help speed it up since they will have our consent for the adoption.
Would you please join us in praying for e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. we need to be there on March 29?! Apparently with the new decision about only writing so many letters, they are now scrutinizing each case more in depth. They are even going back to cases that already have court dates and looking through them. We could be asked for more detailed paperwork. We realize it's important for all the paperwork to be there and be thorough and legit. It's just hard to sit here 2 hours away from our baby and not be able to do a single thing about it! So, please pray with us?
