A New Carrier

A couple months ago I started researching carriers. I looked at blogs, asked for friends advice, and window shopped on amazon.

I kept coming across the Beco Butterfly II Organic Baby Carrier. It looked like a great carrier, but the price tag held me back. I kept looking around and still kept coming back to the Beco. I knew we needed a good one because I plan to carry Ezra in it a lot. He will be carried on the front facing either me or Nathan. I finally bit the bullet and ordered it. It has such high reviews and I got a lot of great feedback from several friends about it. Nana and Poppy brought it over back in March. My first reaction to it when they pulled it out of the suitcase was it was big and bulky. But after looking at and watching the video on how to use it, it doesn't seem so big after all. Nathan pulled it out yesterday and wanted to try using it. First we put John in it on his back. It will hold up to a 45 lb. child! Crazy! Then Ruth had a turn. It easily held both of them, but I'm not sure how long we'd be able to carry either of them in it because of their weight.

I haven't actually put it on with a child in it, but am super excited to use it with Ezra! He was so cuddly and clingy when we visited him and enjoyed being held face forward. It just confirmed my decision to go with this carrier!
