Here's Nakusila again. She's just a cutie! Talk about melting your heart!
And Mike.
Look at those smiles!
Nathan got this picture. And what a story he captured!
They finally got to open their boxes!
Sharon (on the left) is about 15, but you'd never know it by the excitement on her face.
What a beautiful smile!
And Nakusila again. Can you tell she's one of our favorites? I think we could just hide her in the car and take her home. She's absolutely adorable!
A penguin! :)
Some Masai women in the community who came for the distribution with their children.
And here they are leading their families back to their homes.
Nana, Poppy, Auntie Beth, and Uncle Todd with Rosemary and the Masai women.
This is another one of my favorites from the day.
Ok, maybe I have about 10 favorites.
Or twenty. These kids were adorable opening their boxes.
John and Ruth were checking out what Nakusila got in her box. She even shared some of her bubble gum with them.
This little guy got a kaleidoscope.
They were all trying to see what everyone else got in their box.
A few more children randomly showed up once the rain stopped. We handed more out as they showed up.
I really like this one, too.
Our family really enjoys when we get to hand out these boxes. It is such a blessing and a big reminder that life is about more than just our own little world. Thank you to everyone who packs these boxes each year around Christmas time! While they might not be given out at Christmas time, they are still spreading the love of Christ around the world. Children on the opposite of the world from you are learning that the world is not so small and there are people out there who really do care about them, and the ultimate reason that Jesus loves them. So, from the children in Narok, Kenya, thank you!
