The Best Deal of the Day

Last week Emmah and her kiddos returned our cinnamon roll dish and brought us 6 avocados from their tree in the back yard. Free=best deal of the day!

The Birthday Boy

 John requested cinnamon rolls for his birthday since we took cinnamon rolls to Tana's birthday and left the leftovers for them. So, he had a whole dish of them yesterday morning. They rose in the fridge overnight and were ready to bake in the morning! And they were D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S!!

John played dinosaurs, tractors, and monster trucks all day. Uncle Nay Nay has expanded his collection and he really like them!

They were so cute playing together!

Since he likes tractors so much right now and Uncle Nay Nay sent him a John Deere tractor, he chose green and yellow for his cake.

 Nathan "wrapping" his present since Mommy and Daddy laid down on the job and didn't actually get it wrapped.

 Kendi coming to see, too. It was some more track for his Thomas the Train set.

 And a new number game from Tana and Kendi which he and Dinah put together all by themselves this morning.

Nathan built them an awesome track after we got them in the bed! I think he used just about every piece of track we have! And then Dinah took it apart this afternoon. Oh, well!

Tuesday Treats

My generous, loving Hubby will trade dinners with me when I can't or don't want to eat the one I ordered.

Last night, he let me have a nice warm shower while he got the kids ready for bed. Then he washed the dinner dishes for me after the kids were in bed! What a kind man I have!

He wants to go get Ezra just as much as I do! I love that about my man!

I love you, Nathan! You are the best!!

Prayer~

We are trying to set up some sort of sponsorship program for the children at Cheryl's Orphanage. Please pray we can figure this out so we can work on while we are in the US.

We are still waiting for Ezra's passport. Please pray it comes soon so our documents can be submitted to the US Embassy in Addis! We are soooo anxious to go get our baby!

I've had a headache all day today. I think it's just from not having enough water over the weekend. Please pray it goes away soon!

We had a great trip to Narok to visit the children on Saturday! We had a lot of fun playing with the children!

Wednesday is John's 4th birthday! What a sweet little boy he is!

We have a copy of Ezra's court decree and birth certificate listing us as his parents! Whohoo!

A Great Day

Yesterday we got up early and loaded up the van with our family and three short-termers and a baby and headed to Narok to visit the children at Cheryl's Orphanage. The short-termers were looking for a "Kenyan" experience and this was about all we knew to do. I think it was just what they were looking for. We all had a great time playing with the kids. I was behind the camera most of the time so there aren't any pictures of me. But I did play frisbee with Nekusila. We were also able to talk to Rosemary and Pastor about the fence we need to get up soon and sponsorships for the kids. More info to come on that soon! For now, enjoy the pictures!
